Where did 2019 go???

Greetings, my friends!

I can't believe that I missed the November and December posts!  I was busy as a bee getting things decorated inside and out.  My husband is in charge of the fabulous light show outside and his famous Macy's window in our Den bay window.  I am in charge of all the other interior decorations with his help.  Every year we put up 6-7 decorated trees averaging 6' tall.  We love Christmas and decorating to the hilt.  Now, taking everything down is another story!  The inside is about 50% down and packed, the outside about the same.  Thanks to my Sis-In-Law and a dear friend, the inside has gone smoothly.

Updates to share!   I hope you all received the new Mini Catalog (formerly known as the Occasions catalog) that was mailed out late December!  January 3rd you could start purchasing from it, and don't forget our Annual Sale-A-Bration has started!  Free items with a $50.00 purchase from the Mini or Annual catalog.  There are some cute things this year.  If you need assistance on choosing when you get your catalog, just let me know.  You can order right here on my page.

Now let's catch up...Our November Sunday Craftin' Gals Gathering was sooo fun!  We made "samplers".  I purchased some 8x8 frames and made 2 samples that the gals could go with.  The imagination that was shown was just amazing.  Here are some of the pictures of their handiwork!  First are my samples:

Here are some of the gals and their projects...they all turned out just beautiful!

We all had such fun and the food of course was a big hit too!  It always is!

Decembers Sunday Craftin' Gals Gathering featured our Annual Cookie Exchange!  I always treat my peeps to a complete lunch and they bring cookies to eat and trade!  We had some awesome cookies that my husband and I enjoyed for a week after our Gathering!  Our project was an older Stampin' Up! kit that made Star boxes.  I had two kits and had tried to use it up several years in a row!  So, this year I made a pact that these ladies were going to make Star boxes.  They were fairly easy, except the "stick um" tape didn't hold very well, so we had to use glue.  But here are some pictures of our day...my friend Nee put them in such a beautiful PicCollage file.

I am sharing some Christmas cards that I made  using some of my stash as I am getting overwhelmed with beautiful papers, stamps and dies.  There are many different manufacturers/designers used, and I always use Stampin' Up! items whenever I can.  Sometimes though I just need to expand my use of items I have collected over the years.  This way I can make room for more of the new Stampin' Up! things!

Now, I want to let you in on a secret as to how you can save on each and every purchase at Stampin' Up!  During Sale-a-Bration, you can join my team of Craftin' Gals for $99.00!

But wait!  For that $99 you actually receive:

$125 worth of products from the Annual or Mini Catalog (or both) because you choose what is in your Starter Kit!

Annual Convention "On Stage".  This is such a wonderful experience.  Swapping and making new friends, and demonstrations from fellow demonstrators, and meeting Shelli Gardner and Sara Douglass the two most wonderful Mother and Daughter team of Stampin' Up!  Shelli basically started Stampin' Up! 30+ years ago and Sara is now the CEO of Stampin' Up!  They are the best!

All of the above for the price of only $99.00!  If you are interested, give me a jingle or an email and let me know and I will assist you in getting started!  I would absolutely love to have you on my team.  Just a note for some who probably wonder...you don't have to be local to me to be on my team!  Anywhere in the US is just fine!

If you are still hesitant, saying, I just want to stamp on my own, and not have to sell anything...you don't have to sell anything.  Many stampers that are Stampin' Up! demonstrators are doing it just for the love of creating, stamping, and playing with awesome product.  So, put that worry aside and do it for the discount!  That is how I started!  I wanted to get more for my money when I joined.  Believe me, selling is not a requirement.  So, go for it!  Click on Join Me and become a member of a fantastic team of paper lovers.

Well, that is all for now...my next Sunday Craftin' Gals Gathering is scheduled for January 19th and we are doing a Valentine mini house and a card using the new From My Heart Suite on page 8,9 and 10 of the new Mini Catalog.

Until we meet again, be kind to one another and remember to make some time for Creating With Paper!

BOO! EEK! Happy Halloween!

Just a quick post today as we have last minute things to get ready Trick or Treaters tonight.  I just wanted to post some of the cards I made for Halloween that were from a class given by my dear friend Cathy!  We had a lot of fun!  Here they are...

Love me some Tim Holtz!  Happy Halloween everybody!  Now on to Christmas getting ready for the 10th of November and my Sampler class.

Be kind to everybody and make time for Creating With Paper!

Creating With Paper is loving Peaceful Boughs!

Greetings All!

I have just fallen in love with the Stamp Set Peaceful Boughs and it's coordinating die set.  Sooo pretty!  I wanted to share 3 cards I made from it.  The gray one we will be making at my Sunday Craftin' Gals Gathering this coming Sunday!  It looks difficult, but it isn't and comes out very pretty.

Here are the three cards I recently made with it (and the inside pictures too):

Here are the supplies I used to make them!

I encourage you all to get the bundle and save 10%!  Page 15 of the Holiday catalog.

I have had a chance to use the new Paper Trimmer that Stampin' Up! is coming out with.  It is similar to the old one, yet very different.  Several demonstrators have given their "opinions" on YouTube, so if you are curious, go check those out.  I love it!  My only concern is the opening and closing of the cutting blade/scorer "handle".  I am so afraid that I will warp it by pulling it up.  Probably fretting for nothing, but I had an old trimmer that had a warped arm and it ended up going in the trash because it wouldn't score and wouldn't cut good.   But that is the only concern I have.  It cuts extremely smooth - even on the whisper white card stock that was always the issue paper - scores wonderfully you don't even know it scores it is so smooth.  So all in all I think it is well worth it!  The blades are unique too!  I can see how these blades will last a lot longer than the old blades.  I will still take my old trimmer to classes and use it on jobs.  Keeping that fandangled new one all to myself!  Ha!

Well, that is all for today.  Be kind to one another and always make time for Creating With Paper!

Holidays are upon us! Yay!

Boo!  Be Grateful!  Merry Christmas!  Happy New Year!

Wow!  Here they come!  I am very excited this year about all of these Holidays and more!  But first lets see what my Sunday Craftin' Gals Gathering did on September 22nd!  We made a tea light Halloween lantern of sorts and two Fall cards that came from the August Paper Pumpkin by Stampin' Up!  I fixed Beef Stroganoff to try and get us in the Autumn Chill mood.  But low and behold it was like 78 that day!  Oh well, we still had fun crafting and filling our tummys.

(You may have to click on the photos to see all of each one.  For some reason, my blog isn't capturing the full photo...eek!)  We always have so much fun at these gatherings.  I wish I could hold them more than once a month, but because I pretty much provide everything for them, it is just too exhausting.  The ladies love it just as much as I do though.

October 1st is bringing on some new things at Stampin' Up!  Demonstrators will get to Pre-Order the BRAND SPANKING NEW Paper Trimmer!  We are all so used to calling it the Stampin' Trimmer, but it is no longer referred to as that!  I am going to order it and a pack of 4 extra blades to try it out!  It still will score in addition to cut, so I am thrilled about that!  Plus!  It is only $25.00!!!  Cheaper than our last one.  Bargain, Bargain, Bargain!!! Here is a sneak peak at it:

Here is a cute video showing the new Trimmer

They do not have a release date for customers yet, depending on how it goes over with DemonstratorsAnother great reason to ask me about becoming a Demonstrator!  These pre-order opportunities just keep coming!  Click on Join The Fun or Join Me for more information on how to become one of my team members!  I would love to help you achieve your Paper Crafting dreams!

Another exciting announcement is October and November's Paper Pumpkin kits are Special Edition Coordinating Kits called Winter Wonders.  If you have never indulged in Paper Pumpkin, now would be the ideal time!  Subscribe by October 10th to get the October kit and why don't you try a 3 month subscription so you are automatically subscribed for November and December kits.  The last few Paper Pumpkin kits have been so cute!  They are changing things up a bit and improving them as per subscribers comments...and boy are they fun now!  They come with everything you need to make cards, a project or use your imagination!  Many post their Paper Pumpkin alternatives on line for you to see and try out.  It's worth a go!  $22.00/month.  Just click on this link www.paperpumpkin.com to subscribe and learn all about it!

Okay!  One more announcement and I will show you a card I have been working on!  October 1st once again, Stampin' Up! is offering the Pre-Order for Demonstrators the Christmastime Is Here Suite.  Then November 1st it will be available to you the customer.  It is a Christmas Rose and it is a SUITE, so it includes two stamp sets, dies, ribbon, specialty designer paper, gold glitter enamel dots AND a bracelet!  Wowza!  The entire suite will run $112.50 but it is availabe separately or a bundle option (2 stamps sets and 2 coordinating die sets) for $61.00.  Here is a picture of the Suite and several samples made by Stampin' Up!

Now!  A card I recently made.  I have been making several lately, so will hopefully post another in a couple days.  I just love this little Elf named appropriately "Elfie".
No peeking!
Here are the supplies I used...

Well, that is all for today my paper peeps!  Let me know if you need any of the supplies listed above (you can click on the picture and it will be linked to my site) or if I can be of any assistance to you in any way.

Be kind to one another and remember to make time for Creating With Paper!

Summer Over Blues? NO!

Can you believe that we are into the Autumn soon?  To be honest, I am looking forward to cooler weather and the upcoming Holidays!

The new Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog is out and live for all of you paper peeps!  It is a great catalog this year and I want it all as usual!  In the midst of all of the Holiday Hoopla, don't forget the Annual Catalog.  It has wonderful ideas and things that will enhance your Holiday catalog choices.  If you need a Holiday Catalog, please let me know!  I can get you one in a flash!  I know you won't be disappointed!  Here is a cute, quick video showcasing some of the catalog.

Also, if you would like to become a member of my Team, I would love to have you join me and my fabulous crew!  I can give you more details...just email me!  Need help deciding on product?  I can help with that also!  I love presenting and making new projects for my team and their families.  We all share our ideas and just love helping one another.  My purpose is to help you with a project or help you get what you need for your project.  I am here for you!

July 21st we had a Sunday Craftin' Gals Gathering, luckily I found those pictures.  We did a Christmas card and a "manly" card...no muscles, though!  I finally fulfilled my dream of having Christmas in July.  He He!  Here are the photos!

On a personal note, we took a fabulous Alaskan Cruise the first part of August and as soon as we got home, I got sick!  This cold has hung around for 3 weeks now, but I am determined to shake it off!  So, I haven't been diligent about writing or crafting.  Just a few projects.  It seems all of my July pictures have disappeared in the transition from iPhone photos and Google photos.  I am still trying to figure out where they went, but technology is crazy, so hope to discover them in some unknown place!

Well, I better get this posted...it is late.  In between writing this we went for a visit to the Grandkids in Sacramento area.  Oh gosh, they are growing up way too fast, and the two little girls they are fostering and hoping to adopt are just the sweetest little things.  Anyway, we had a blast...

Have a great month, be kind to one another, and make time every day for some CREATING WITH PAPER!
