Creating With Paper on a Rainy Monday Greetings through Raindrops! I would have said raindrops falling on my head, but I am staying safe and dry inside today! I will admit that I am loving our rain this year. We have been fortunate to have 2-3 days of sun in between each of our storms, which really helps dry Southern California. It allows our hills to soak the rain in rather than letting it sweep down the hills and cause real problems. So far we have been lucky! (Knocking on wood). On to some cards I have been working on. I try and keep up with some challenges that are posed in a couple groups I am in, and have to admit, sometimes it is a tad difficult. Since we were working our little (?) bottoms off this past weekend to get our house back to normal after the Holidays, I had to cram a couple in yesterday. Yikes! But here they are! The first one is a "weekly challenge". Every Friday, my upline, Connie Stewart, gives us a Weekend challenge. I hope to do more this year... Here are the supplies I used... Product List Botanical Gardens Designer Series Paper [140583] $11.00 Old Olive 8-1/2" X 11" Card Stock [100702] $8.00 Pear Pizzazz 1/4" Cotton Ribbon [134562] $6.00 Cajun Craze Classic Stampin' Pad [126965] $6.50 Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies [145372] $30.00 Copper Stampin' Emboss Powder [141636] $5.00 Fast Fuse Adhesive [129026] $10.00 Heat Tool [129053] $30.00 Big Shot [143263] $110.00 Stampin' Dimensionals [104430] $4.00 Next, Connie Stewart and her peers are giving us a new challenge each week in January to try a new technique! The first technique was "Joseph's Coat". Well, being so busy last week, I didn't get to it, but finally experimented with it today. I think the next time I do this technique I will use lighter colors as the base. I found my colors to be a bit dark, but I like the way it turned out for my first attempt! Here are the supplies for this Product List Melon Mambo 8-1/2" X 11" Card Stock [115320] $8.00 Melon Mambo Classic...
Happy Spring - really? Already? Greetings All! I know I have said it many times lately, but I am back! Life just doesn't let go of it's need to be attended to, but I found a few moments to share some things and get back to my first love (other than my hubster) papercrafting. First, let me take care of a bit of Stampin' Up! business. Sale-A-Bration! SAB is through March 31st. A couple of the items have sold out completely!!! This is a risk we all run into! But, to solve that dilemma, Stampin' Up! has kindly added some items from the Occasions and Annual Catalog. This hopefully will spur some of you to take advantage of the new items. Remember, that when you spend $50.00 from either the Annual or the Occasions catalog, it qualifies you for a free item from the Sale-A-Bration catalog. Note, the following are not in the catalog nor in the supplement that added a few new items. But I would definitely suggest taking advantage of this Sale!!! I wanted to share a few projects that I have done recently...they are not Stampin' Up! projects although a few items in them are Stampin' Up! But I won't reveal my sources of products unless you want to message me. A few St. Patty's day creations... Easter Projects - am I into these cute frames and Vintage? Yaaaa... And lastly, go waaayyy back to St. Valentines Day! Well, I had better get to work! Have my monthly local "Crafting With the Girls" this Sunday! Hope to get lots of sales before Sale-A-Bration ends! Happy Week to all...be kind to one another and make some time for Creating With Paper! Save Save
