March showers bring more time to Craft

Hey Hey Everyone!

I can not believe that March has come and is already half over!

In February, we had a full month at the Shedoudy household..my girlfriend from North Carolina visiting, went to see Dirty Dancing - part of our San Diego Broadway series, Grandchildren visiting at the beginning of the month (well, late January) and of course business stuff like taxes (yuk).  Valentines Day was wonderful...we stayed home and fixed a delicious dinner and hubby gave me a beautiful flower arrangement and not one, but two cards!  He must love me, right?  (big smiles).

But here it is the "Lucky Month" and I am feeling very lucky!  I haven't been working on many St. Patrick's Day projects but mostly Easter!  Easter will be here in 2 weeks - WHAT?  Anyway, I held my monthly Crafting Gals Get Together on Sunday the 11th, and we made two adorable products!  My inspiration for the pizza box bunny scene was Monica Gale in the UK and our mini egg carton project from Amanda Bates from The Craft Spa.  Thank you to both of these wonderfully creative women.  Here are the samples I worked up for the girls to use as guides.

I love getting together with these friends!  It means so much to me to have them in my life.

Well, I delayed sending this until I returned from a few days in the desert with old friends.  We have been going out to Borrego Springs for Spring Fling for 30+ years now.  It is never a dull moment and we certainly have the best home cooked food on the planet!  But now back to reality and hoping I can get back to work soon.

Happy New Year Greetings to All! First of all, I want to thank my loyal followers for not giving up on me. Between traveling, Holidays, and day to day living, my hubby and I have been down for the count a couple of times with this flu that is going around. We are very thankful that we didn't get the worst strain, but whatever one we got has been hard enough on us. We are on the mend and hopefully this will be the end of the illness for our household here in San Diego. Next, I need to catch you all up on what is happening with Stampin' Up! The New Year 2018 brings the new Occasions Catalog (wowzer) and of course Sale-A-Bration catalog! For every $50 you spend in the Occasions or Annual Catalog, you qualify for a "free" item from the Sale-A-Bration catalog. Bargain? You bet! I hope that my followers who order from me all got their catalogs, but if you haven't yet, please let me know and I will definitely get you the pair. I am hoping that they come up with a Part 2 of the Sale-A-Bration booklet, because I have already received every single item in the first go around! Talk about obsessed! Yikes! Often we get so excited about the Occasions Catalog, we tend to forget about the great items that are in the Annual Catalog. Don't do that! The annual catalog has absolutely a TON of fabulous items in it and it is good through May 31, 2018. There is still lots of time to take advantage of the great bargains AND remember, for every $50, you get a free item - this is good through March 31st! I just went through the Annual catalog, and even though I have many things marked as "received", I found some really cute things that I missed on my previous looksies! So take time to peruse it too! Now, for the things I have gotten done...I did manage to have a "Crafting Gals" Christmas gathering (took lots of drugs to mask my cold). We did our annual...

New Catalog Info and updates on Inks! Greetings All! I am not going to apologize this time for not being more on top of things. We have had a medical issue here at home, and my family comes first. That being said, I did want to share some very exciting things coming up! What does this time of year conjure up in your mind? Spring flowers? April rains to bring those May flowers? Summer coming very soon? Well, my peeps, at Stampin' Up!, this time of year means the NEW ANNUAL CATALOG is coming! Yippee! As a demonstrator, I have had a chance to look at the catalog online. I wasn't able to attend an On Stage last weekend, so had to wait until Monday! BUT! It is an awesome catalog! One thing worth mentioning is the Stampin' Up! Colors REVAMP. Yes, there are 13 colors going away (Always Artichoke, Chocolate Chip, Elegant Eggplant, Island Indigo, Marina Mist, Perfect Plum, Pink Pirouette, Rose Red, Soft Sky, Tangerine Tango, Tempting Turquoise, Wild Wasabi and Wisteria Wonder - whew!). The In Color 2016-2018 group (Dapper Denim, Emerald Envy, Flirty Flamingo, Peekaboo Peach, Sweet Sugar Plum) are retiring - In Colors are only around for 2 years then..gone. Flirty Flamingo though has managed to flirt its way back in to the Core Color Collection...sneaky little Flamingo! Ha! Here are the latest In Colors - aren't they awesome? There's more! Some older colors that were previously retired are....wait for it.....coming back! This includes Mossy Meadow, Poppy Parade, that little Flirty Flamingo, Coastal Cabana, Mint Macaron (I can hear cheers from the crowds) and Blackberry Bliss. These 5 colors will be integrated into the Core Color Collection. So if your favorite In Color has gone bye bye, don't fret because sometimes they come back! The Brights, Regal, Subtles, and Neutral collections have been revamped too! They now incorporate the 10 new colors. What can I say, except they are GORGEOUS!!! The Brights, Regal, Subtles, and Neutral collections have been revamped too! You should notice that White, Vanilla and Black are no longer in the Neutral list. They are now just considered Basic...
